1. ugh- i live in an utterly red state

i thought had seen that my parish was usually Dem, but apparently, i was looking at a neighboring parish...my fellow parishoners voted overwhelmingly for mccain... :(

but...I WON! :D

and so did they- they just don't realize it!

spent some time there in N.V. I could see the demographic change in the past ten years. I am thrilled.

4. Feelin great too now that Ohio is back to a blue state!!

Words cant express how very happy and excited I was last night when they put Ohio in President Elect Barack Obama's column!! I laughed, I shed a few tears of joy, drank a toast to our new President and to celebrate the end of the Bushit admin! I'm sure hoping to be in DC for the inauguration and celebrate with all my fellow Dems!!

Now my hope is that President Obama chooses a fine position in his cabinet for Hillary Clinton. I know there are mixed feelings here about her and I dont wish to be a lightning rod, but she does have plenty of experience in many areas that would be of great service to the new administration plus it would be nice to extend her an olive branch to satisfy her many supporters.

But either way, I am just so thrilled that history was made last night. It's just amazing that after 40 years and 7 months to the day that the Rev Martin Luther King was murdered, we have our first African-American President!! I'm just so happy that in my lifetime that I would see this day!! It's a new dawn in America and man does it feel fantastic!!!
