I want to become a member of the Secret Service. |
|
How do I go about it? I decided last night that I would take a bullet for our new President. I want him protected at all times.

3. I know that it's very difficult. |

http://www.ustreas.gov/usss/opportunities_exams.shtmlYour chances of getting assigned to guard the President are also close enough to zero to be not worth mentioning. :hi:

4. You just want to carry a submachine gun, don'cha? |

Seriously, though, off the top of my head, I think you need a Bachelor's Degree and some previous law enforcement experience. If you have neither, you've got some work cut out for you.
As Secret Service agents also taken on counterfeiters and the like, be prepared to rotate on and off Presidential security duty.

7. You have to go to Federal Law enforcement officer's training school. |
|
One in Georgia and outside D.C. You probably won't get Presidential detail, more like investigating counterfeiters.
