during their convention, after praying for rain on ours - fates be what they will, sometimes happenstance looks like a warning. In a perfect world they would rethink their adherence to the death cult and start asking questions about things like earthly justice, loving thy brother and all that holy noise that's ignored by the modern Pharisee, but I don't hold much hope.

If we were to really be kind, I think we would try and find a way to heal them of this terrible mental illness they suffer from. There must be a way to reach through the darkness and grab hold of the remaining threads of sanity they must maintain in order to exist among the normal.
