If I'm a poll-worker again, I'm going to have to take the Wednesday off too.... |

... wow.
I have fibromyalgia, and normally it doesn't bother me too badly. Massage therapy and Zanaflex, and Celebrex for when my knee or ankle start acting up (take care of your joints, people...) are generally all I need.
Yesterday, even though I alternated between standing and sitting and it isn't something I could truly call a physical job, I knew I was tired when I came home. I was so happy about Obama winning, even if in my own county he lost by a large margin, I stayed up to watch his speech and then went to bed, had only two glasses of champagne and made sure I ate with them -- didn't want a hangover.
But today.... my shoulders, back, and knees are KILLING me.
I'm just so glad it was for a good cause.
... but I admire the 83-year-old woman who was doing check-in with me more than I can say. She was tired and admitting it last night, but I only hope I can still do this when I'm 83, even if I'm sore the next day...

I've had fibromyalgia since 1983. It does get tough at times like these. I usually take Cyclobenzaprine and Ultram to deal with the pain and sore muscles. Plus, staying away from processed foods seems to help a lot.
Thanks for all your hard work!
