1. Other -- the Gay Community was the biggest loser last night
Not only did Repukes vote against us but so did our fellow Democrats.

2. True. That was a big disappointment on election night. The anti-marriage amendments are winning

4. Yep, the LGBTQ community, as well as their allies
I can only hope that the younger, more open-minded generation changes these amendments and ballot initiatives as it ages. Soon!

7. Eye On The Prize...
Yes, it was disappointing this proposition passed, but I hope this is used in a positive way to further the organization, networking and financing that can make a repeal of this thing happen in 2 years.

Last night we saw the results of 50 years of social change...many of us who recall the "good old days" open racial prejudice saw a steady, yet generational movement...I see the same thing happening for gay marriage and rights. The LGBT community is a generation behind and in time, as the most prejudiced generations pass from the scene, the issue will gain less traction for the far right and even more accepted by "the mainstream".

5. I know your post is a spoof of sorts, but I voted other,
cuz the biggest losers were our gay friends in CA & the rest of the nation. This was a crushing blow & I have to confess that I am stunned by it! Of all states, I thought CA would come through on human rights & equality. I simply cannot fathom how people can think that gay marriage is any kind of a threat to them. It boggles my mind.

14. GLBT Americans
Yes it was indeed your gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered neighbors, friends, and family members that lost the most last night. Of course we were told to wait until after the election to pursue our equality so now it is over I am confident those who told us that will now join us to fight discrimination against us.
