The talking heads are both hilarious and just stupid

TV on in the background just so I can keep catching pictures and pieces of BO's speech.

No matter who - they keep trying to frame things in terms of how things used to be done. "So-and-so is going to pressure BO to appoint XXX" sort of stuff.

But they don't get it yet - he came to power by organizing and fundraising on his own, he's not beholden to the party, he's not beholden to any K-street interests - there are no favors to re-pay

He's sitting in the cat bird seat. Every Congress member who wants to tap into his incredible fundraising potential has to be beholden to him. They'll have to support his programs, not the other way around.

And any groups who come looking for support are going to have to get it the old fashioned way - they're going to have to come and convince the Obama Administration that what they are suggesting is what is best for the country

There is so much right with this win, I'm still having to let it settle in
