A mid to long term fallout possibility re: Bible Spice |
|
Once again, the nutfucker wing of the repub party has thrown a Fungelical person or principal under the bus. Bible Spice was the champion of the Theocratists. She had a a full compliment of the necessary credentials. Spoke in their coded language. She comfortably wore all the proper dog whistles. She had that snarky certitude that comes only from beliefs based in delusion rather than fact.
She was perfect.
And the repubs are laying this electoral loss at her feet.
Just another wedge.
I hope the split is, slow, long, painful, and deadly to the Repub party.

2. They have a choice, either take a long painful look at their failures and |
|
emerge more centered on their core beliefs of humble conservatism, or try to lay blame on one faction or another. The best scenario to the Dems is a split between economic and theocratic Republicans.
