Lieberman vows to suck up to his fellow Dems in order to keep his chairmanship...
WASHINGTON (AP) — Sen. Joe Lieberman, one of Republican John McCain's strongest supporters, is pledging to put partisan considerations aside and work with President-elect Barack Obama.

Lieberman is a Democrat-turned-independent. Although he caucused with Senate Democrats, the Connecticut lawmaker alienated many in his party for his criticism of Obama.

Lieberman issued a statement Wednesday congratulating Obama for his "historic and impressive victory."

Many Democrats want to strip him of his Homeland Security Committee chairmanship, kick him out of the party caucus or both because he endorsed his close friend McCain over Obama. Much depends on how badly Democrats need Lieberman to reach the 60-vote threshold required to block Republican filibusters.

1. Harry and the other Dems in power need to hang their feet so high up his hiney
that you can see their toes wiggle when that SOB opens his mouth.

2. Losing his chairmanship should be automaatic...the question is whether they allow him
to attend caucus meetings.

he should lose the chairmanship immediately as a matter of principle.

3. Take away his chairs and let him decide whether to caucus with Dems or not.
We really don't need him for some magic number because he wouldn't vote with us anyway.

6. Lieberman treated President Obama like shit

His chairmanship of Homeland Security is a joke, it is suppose to do oversight
