2. This is one of the reasons that I hate when people don't agree

with the Catholic church but stay members for some asinine reason. Stop giving them your money and your body count to use as a power tool. This is what happens.

4. Precisely why I recently requested to have my name removed from the rolls of the

LDS (Mormon) church, which I have not been a part of for over 15 years and have not believed in for much longer than that (if I ever did - I was a kid). I don't want to be counted among them for one more second. I am disgusted.

3. I remember that fight in MA ...

fortunately, to get the issue on the ballot, the state legislature would have to approve it in two successive sessions. They got a slim majority on the first session, so at the next session, the powers that be didn't allow it to be brought to the floor.

Stopped dead in it's tracks and we haven't been wiped off the face of the earth yet.
