Listening to Thom Hartman,
even though Obama won, the election was still stolen, massive landslide anticipated, didn't happen.

3. Yes, millions of votes are stolen...
but they couldn't steal it all, nor were they able to steal Obama's mandate. I'm so grateful for that, but I don't want to be grateful. I want every American to be 100% sure that their votes will count, and that they will not be stolen EVER again. One of the first things our Dem Congress needs to do is to get rid of the damn electronic machines that are so easily hacked, and ensure each and every single American vote is safe, and COUNTS.

4. I had heard about voting irregularities in St. Louis yesterday.
It makes me wonder about that razor-thin margin of 4000 votes that gave McCain the state. St. Louis is overwhelmingly African-American.

5. I believe the total turnout was low based on the numbers for '04
almost the same total votes for Pres. I think we were all expecting a higher total.

6. They've got to put an end...
...to private firms counting the votes. If we are going to use electronic voting, the software needs to be open source and we need a paper trail.

Also blatant voter suppression efforts including malicious voter scrubbing and purging need to be prosecuted at the Federal level. This is bullshit.

These are national security issues and need to be framed as such.

8. There's still work to do - after we finish celebrating
Voting reform is surely on the 4 year agenda.

But for pity sakes, I want to bask in the autumn glow of this election victory. Many victories across America in today's light. And hopefully a few more to come.

Thanks for the heads up about his message of today.
