Randi making a GOOD point - I hope Frankin wins, but he never believed
Edited on Wed Nov-05-08 04:47 PM by davidwparker
2004 was stolen. Now, he is experience election "irregularities" first hand.

What goes around, comes around.

on edit: changed fraud to irregularities -- the word Frankin used at a press conference this morning

1. If it was election fraud, there would have been a more comfortable margin
You don't steal elections by 500 votes out of a million. That only calls attention by drawing a recount.

14. Not necessarily. If the software flips one of every 20 votes, then who knows?
And back to the OP's point...I can't forgive Al for not only not believing in election fraud, but not allowing the subject up for discussion on his show. Very undemocratic of him, IMO. He reminds me of what is wrong with many of today's Democrats and I have no pity for him.

6. I saw Frankin this morning on C-SPAN stating that his office was aware of
irregularities.

The "fraud" word was used by Randi, referring back to the fraud in Ohio 2004.

4. Has Franken said anything about election fraud in the race? It was close, not
fraud. And a recount is the only safe way to assure every vote was counted correctly.

7. You use election fraud to AVOID recounts, not force them.

8. Minnesota has one of the cleanest voting systems in the nation. This is bullshit.
Sometimes, races are just close.

9. Was there any "voter cleansing" done before the election?
In which case the problem wouldn't be what votes were counted, but what votes were not allowed at all.

11. How well connected was Franken with the DFL? I like the man, but to just return to the state...
after being gone for 40 years and go for a Senate seat may have not gone over so well with people who have been putting in time with the party and slowly rising up the ranks.

12. How many provisionals ?
I am hearing of more and more provisionals being forced on voters all across the country. My brother had to use one. They said they didn't have his name and made him, assured him it would be fine. I told him he should NOT have left the polling place! This is more widespread than most of us know !!!

17. Al's problem is he is far too emotional about this race
A better candidate would have wiped the floor with Norm Coleman and gotten over 50%, third party or not.

18. I don't believe 2004 was stolen either.
All the "evidence" posted here was no better than the crap posted on the freepers site.

Some people just claim "stolen" whenever the results turn out different than they want.
