*sigh* - The Transition Process Will Be Like VP Speculation On Steroids

I remember all the various arguments regarding who should be VP. Now, we get to relive this process several times over. My take is that Obama is going to put an emphasis on performance and competence over idealogy, particularly in areas directly involving the Economy and National Security. I think the best clues can be garned from Obama's book, the Audacity of Hope, which I recommend.

Obama is not a liberal version of Bush, who applies rigid idealogical tests to political appointments. We can all debate whether or not this is good thing or bad thing.
