I am tired of the hate
I am willing to "forgive" to get back to some semblance of how I remember America as a youngster. I know it is hard after all of the abuse Republicans have piled on Liberals/Democrats these last two decades but it has to end somewhere. If it means having half the Administration be Republican than so be it. As long as we don't allow Republican ideology to rule, we should give them a solid voice. They are not always wrong, just vile. The hatred and division has to end and we have to be the ones that are big enough to end it...It won't be easy becuase there are still those out there driving the wedges and inspiring the hatred. Rush Limbaugh and Hannity come to mind immediately but it has to end. We can do it..."Yes We Can"

10. did you listen to Glen Beck and Limbaugh today?
you should have. They are calling Obama a Democratic president MINORITY.. yeap, theyre saying he won by a NARROW margin!.. yeap.. not making it up.. these people are vicious and we should be on the guard if not they would destroy us.

Trust me. I wish i could make peace with them, but they are a bunch of hatred war mongers, C-span proved it one more time this morning when all the republicans callers were trashing Obama.

Thanks, but no thanks.

8. Need to repeal 2 in FL, too
Edited on Wed Nov-05-08 07:49 PM by kdmorris
I was thinking about starting a petition (the first step to getting something in the constitution of Florida) to make an amendment to the state constitution that says something to the effect of "Amendments to the constitution cannot be ratified by the voters if said amendment would deny rights to citizens of Florida enjoyed by others".

Needs work... but it's a start.

Edited to add: It's more important to go after 8 in California. Removing the stupid amendment that was passed in Florida yesterday won't allow homosexual marriage in Florida. It's against the law in other ways. Getting 8 thrown out in California will give homosexuals back a right that was taken away from them. All Florida's new amendment does is show what fucktards we have in the state, but doesn't change anything from how it was the day before that.

4. They will be on him every day
just like they were on Clinton. Before he finishes a sentence, they will be whining and complaining and calling him names. I hope I'm wrong.

5. I am tired of idiots
I just had a conversation with my neighbor. She is upset because her boss, who owns the business, is talking about laying people off when the new taxes come out! I said, "why?" She said, well you know Obama is going to raise taxes on people like my boss. I asked who these people are. She said, "businesses that make more then $250,000/year." I asked how much money her bosses company made. She said, "6 million last year."

WTH? I am supposed to feel sorry for someone who owns a $6 million company? I asked why he would have to lay off if he brought in this much money. I mentioned I was NOT sympathetic since we are hoping to keep from filing bankruptcy.

Right now I am not reaching across the aisle to the people that voted for McCain...maybe later...

9. I agree. My entire family is Republican and we've had some nasty fights.
I can't change them, but I can change myself.
