The good things thread.
This is a thread devoted exclusively to the progress we made yesterday. There are plenty of other threads going on where people can bitch and moan, but please not here. After eight years, some of us need a break.

Post something good. Here's mine:

Proposition 2 for farm animals passed in California. This can be historic legislation for bringing us closer to treating farm animals humanely.

Your turn!

1. I'm glad for that too..... my husband tried to make me buy non-cage free
eggs the other day because they were cheaper. I told him they TORTURE those chickens and I wouldn't eat them. So we got the cage free :)

2. All Dems running in Travis County were elected.
Of course, the Dem running against McCaul
in Tom Delay's gerrymandered district that
snakes around all the way to Katy, Texas,
lost.

But he would have won in Austin.

Austin went 66% for Obama! We rock!

7. Here's another, negative campaigning was rejected.
This put to lie the old theory that voters say they hate negative campaigns, but still vote for them. With the right candidate, they don't. Maybe, just maybe, in the future we can have campaigns about issues and let honest disagreements be aired, instead of scaring dupes into thinking someone is a Muslim or atheist.
