seem to forget about Jesse Owens, Jackie Robinson, Hattie McDaniel...
Arguably, these folks brought racial inequality front in center on the world stage, in the movies and on the Baseball field...
The emotions that Jackie Robinson bottled up inside as he was taunted, spit at and yelled at in almost every major league park he played in took a toll on the man. He knew what he was getting into. But he never talked about civil rights until he was far removed from baseball.
Sports and Entertainment figures blazed the way for many more who came after...
Jackie Robinson, a true American hero...
