5. I understand that Lee Mercer is now available. He would be perfect, too.

Admittedly, he and Keyes are two of a kind, but Lee would bring that "independent" spirit the RNC so desperately needs.

running for President . . . so he's faced Obama twice now. He's definitely been vetted for the RNC chair job.
