Are there exit polls for white voters in the south that divides by age

I am wondering if the 18-29 y.o. white voters in places like Texas, Louisiana, MS, Alabama, etc voted GOP as strongly as older white voters in the south.

Mississippi:

White 18-29 18% Obama
White 45-64 10% Obama



Alabama:

White 18-29 13% Obama
White 45-64 9% Obama



Damn. I was hoping for more progress for the next generation of whites in the south.

4. how about north carolina and virginia which Obama won ?

6. NC is different, VA is not

In NC whites under 29 broke for Obama fairly strongly (56% or so) while those over 29 broke McCain by about 60%. However Virginia has a fairly consistent break for youth vs. the elderly (56% vs 61% McCain).

I wonder what seperates NC from the other southern states in the turnout and views among white youth.

For Texas Obama received 30% of the 18-29 white vote and McCain received 69%. Not to surprising since McCain took 73% of the white vote in Texas.
