If you could replace Morning Joe, who would you go with for the am MSNBC slot? |
|
There has to be someone who can serve up a more intelligent discussion than Joe Scarborough. I enjoy the show much more when he is on one of his frequent absences.

3. Just don't watch it for a while. I think us liberals desperate for political news in the morning |
|
are keeping this jerk up there. Don't watch it, and write to NBC with your suggestions. I bet if they had Mika Mouse by herself, their ratings would go up. She would be able to express a coherent thought without being interrupted and shouted out.

18. Mika was fine until Palin came onto the scene |
|
Now that Palin is off the stage and is being ruthlessly butchered by campaign insiders I'm hoping Mika will snap out of it and return to how she used be prior to the Republican convention.

sided, I just like to hear them plus I like the side kick also. Joe I do not think has one ounce of class but Meka sure does. It is like Mutt and Jeff is you have ever heard of those guys in the funny papers.

11. I enjoy Willie Geist. He is quietly ironic and pretty droll. |
|
Edited on Thu Nov-06-08 08:04 AM by Phoebe Loosinhouse
Mika may be smart, but she certainly doesn't display it very much. She's become like a den mother who says things like "Now that's not nice, etc." Joe is so bombastic and narrow minded that I don't enjoy listening to him. It has nothing to do with him being a conservative. If Mika were a better counterweight, that would be fine, but she just lets him talk over her.

the day. I have watched that stuff all my life and it is usually the person like Joe that is thought the 'dubber' in the end. My father's name for the really out of it persons he ran into in this world. I do not know where that word came from but every one in my family knew what it means to our family.

advancing one view but is in a larger search for the reality of a situation. He's also good at asking probing questions without having a gotcha manner.
I forget why they took his old show away from him. I think I recall that it actually had pretty good ratings.

that would probably triple the ratings, like Rachel quadrupled and quintupled the ratings of Little Tucker Carlson and Scumborodeadintern's first evening show.

She has been telling the truth since 2000. How about Rachel and Ashley co hosting? Ashley was persecuted by the networks for telling the truth in the early days. She deserves a place at the table.

But she may have taken that gig so she could be home with her child - wasn't she pregnant while she was covering 9/11 and out in that debris cloud?

Edited on Sat Nov-08-08 05:58 AM by TexasObserver
I think Schuster, Jansing, Tameron, and John Ridley would make a great morning mix.
Willie can stay, but Joe, Mika, and Pat have got to go. Honest to God, they're worse than Fox & Friends half the time.
