1. Other.
It'll pretend to moderate while staying exactly the same.

3. I think they'll try to appeal to the fringe a little bit longer
Then when they keep losing, they'll lose the wingnuts and come to the center a little. But just a little.

4. Million dollar question really.
Answer is, it depends on if Barack can pull off a success. I beleive in him but the odds are insurmountable. He knows a think or two about beathing the odds though.

7. That sounds radical
but very plausible. The overt racist talk I've heard from my own relatives scares the crap out of me.

8. Hopefully the moderates will take back over and eject the extremeists
That way they'll be split in two and not able to mount a serious challenge in 2012. Also telling the extremists to F.O. will help bring a small measure of honor back to the party.

9. It seems to already be going further right - The party conference
coming up is made up of nearly all right-righters. I believe some moderates will form their own party and some will become Democrats.

That cliche about doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result being a form of insanity was never better illustrated.

They seem bent on destroying themselves as much as humanly possible, and I'm very happy to see it.

10. What direction does The Coriolis Effect go...
In the northern hemisphere? I can never remember that.
