to go to war with the other half (again, roughly the same half as today) that supported him....then, one of them finally killed him. I understand the analogy and the significance, but its still really disturbing. Hopefully, the chaos that resulted from Lincoln's election will not occur.

that believe in discrimination 50 years ago - not much progress yet - especially when I see so many states vote to put discrimination in their constitutions
