OBAMA'S LANDSLIDE VICTORY IS NOT AN ENDORSEMENT OF LIBERALISM!!!!!111 |
|
Just a couple weeks ago, conservatives were calling Obama the most liberal Senator out there, as well as a Marxist, a Socialist, etc.
There's also the Democratic majority in Congress that got reelected too, didn't the Right say they were very liberal too?
I'll play conservatives, when is it an endorsement of liberalism?

2. I find it very amusing what they call "liberal" and "socialist" |
|
They're hugging the far right wall of the political spectrum. EVERYTHING is left of them.

11. So is Bush**'s funding of faith-based charities with taxpayer money |
|
...not to mention the checks Alaskans receive from their collective resource, oil.
Point these things out to the nutcases on the right, though, and they defend them or are silent.
I like to tell them that if they, their parents or grandparents have received social security or medicare then they've enjoyed the benefits of "socialism" and by all rights, considering their opposition to the concept, they should give it back.

4. obama is a centrist - and many of the dems right now are too |
|
we need to continue stepping toward the left progressively - voting new dems in - the kennedys were our friends - we need more dems like them

7. Obama is a mixed bag. I think he's more of a pragmatist than an ideologue. |
|
He was also a "New Party" endorsed candidate when he won his IL state senate seat.
The New Party morphed in the late 90's and is now the "Working Families Party" in NY.
So Obama is not anti-left.

9. Someone please, please... |
|
tell me which color to wear! I really like the Commie pink, but pastels don't look good one me. I love the mixed state purple, but I'm not sure I can go that far. I love the blue, it matches my eyes, and the green is lovely as well, but they don't come alive for me. Red actually is my favorite color, but I need to find a shade that is more a Commie Red than GOP red. Should I just go with black or white?
