How terrible! NM elected a card carrying member of the DLC to the Senate

Never mind that he voted against the IWR. Never mind that he has a largely liberal voting record in the House. Forget that he's replacing a wingnut, corrupt repuke. Forget that he was running against an even worse one. Forget all that! Anyone ever associated with the criminal DLC must go!

We need to purge every last member of the DLC! We need a pure party! Fuck the big tent.

*For the goddamn record: The DLC is not an organization I have any use for, but I do recognize that there are individuals associated with it who are good people and decent legislators and on the right side of many issues.
