3. The Bush administration no longer has a reason to 'prop' up the markets.
So they're just letting them fall. You know they've been pumping money into the markets (OUR money) to keep them just above water for McCain's sake.

4. DOW ain't going to be done going down for a while yet.
Obama doesn't need to worry about blame unless it is still going down four years from now. And yes, no matter what happens, if it's bad, it will be blamed on Obama and the Democrats.

5. The market has been extremely volatile for awhile.
Right now, a 300-point drop doesn't mean squat and it has no bearing on Obama.

Just my 2 cents.

6. No ... if you listen to the actual explanatins, its because the structural issues are real
Job losses

Crappy retail sales

Credit still too slow to move

Crappy housing and auto industries

And other issues of this sort.

The market is pretty disconnected from the election right now

Alternately pinning blame on the downs and assigning credit for the rallies can give motion sickness to those who listen to the spinmeisters.
