So my State goes BLUE - Yeah NC - and an hour later I get the finger
Driving along in the most magnificent fall day, 75 degrees, colors ablaze with my state just gone blue I was not thinking about the 2 foot square "That One" mags on my truck door when I stopped at an intersection and a man stood there with a brand new T-shirt.

The letters were billboard huge:
"DON'T BLAME ME - I VOTED FOR McCAIN"

As I stared astonished at how fast he had gotten this, it was a professional job, first I gaped and then I broke into a fiendish grin thinking about my blue state and the SWEET VICTORY we just contributed to.

He saw my doors. And then I got the worked to the bone finger of one who certainly voted against his own best interest. And he stomped the street and brought up his second middle finger as well. And his mouth moved.

I trust one day he will see the error of his thinking and the help the Obama administration can be and will be to him.

I pray.

2. Yeah, NC! My two neighbors took their McPalin signs down the morning
after election day....we are going to keep our Obama sign up for a long time! I would say that in N Raleigh, many more smiling faces than long ones, which is a bit surprising...

11. Some one stole ours at our local DFA meeting last night!
while we were on the on the patio of the restaurant. I had slipped the plastic sleeve sign over a smallish glass windbreaker next to the entrance to the patio. During the meeting, someone going into the restaurant lifted it off the glass within sight of at least 40 of us.

that many in this country see as obsolete - where it's centered in this country in that large southern area but shrinking with each new generation...there will always be too many people like him, even if he's a dying breed.

8. I am not sure that is fair
I notice one of the big areas there is Arkansas. I think Arkansas voted less for the Democrats because Obama beat their favorite daughter in the same way that Arizona came close to voting for Gore in 2000 because of the way Bush beat McCain in the primary.

I do wonder what that spot is in Kansas. Fort Scott? Linn county? And what the reasoning is.

12. Imagine how mad they'd be if Obama hadn't won fair and square
This level of anger and vitriol over an election where their guy got whomped. I wonder what the reaction might have been had McCain won the popular vote but Obama had won the electoral college? What if the electoral vote was so close that a disputed state had had its recount stopped when the issue hadn't been decided, and arbitrarily awarded to Obama giving him the election? Awarded, just to really put the cherry on top, by political cronies appointed by Bill Clinton?

Because until something anywhere close to that happens, I am disinclined to put up with any of the sore loser shenanigans currently squirting like bile out of the gall bladder of the Right.
