The Honeymoon begins..

I had a friend ask me today how I feel about the election ( she knows I voted Obama ).I explained it this way to her....
21 months ago I started dating different candidates for the job and I picked the one I thought was for me

At the primary I got engaged

From June to November I started planning the wedding ( campaign period: doing all I can to get him to the WH). Wedding date set for Nov 4, 2008

On the wedding day I waited to see if the groom would show up....HE DID at around 11:pm!!!!

Now I am on a 76 day honeymoon leading to Jan 20, 2009. I am happy and elated that it all worked out.

Jan 21, 2009 the marriage starts... I am sure it won't be easy, I am sure that there is going to be complaining about performance and other issues, I am sure it will be give and take during the relationship and I am sure it will involve listening. The marriage will last for a least 4 years and hopefully 8 if it is good, if not I will divorce him in 4 and start looking for another!!!
