why did he leave his show in mid show today?

i heard him on the radio in the car and then when i got back i turned on wcpt and poof! norman goldman was filling in for him.

just wondering what happened?

1. I haven't listened to big eddie in a long while.

I wasn't even aware he still had a show. He probably went on one of his famous meltdowns and they dragged him kicking and screaming away from the mike.

2. I remember Al Franken and Thom Hartmann doing that a couple of times.

I think they had to catch flights. Don't know where Schultz went.

3. He said he was sick earlier, and that Norman was coming on.

4. nothing happened

he said he was taking a break, been a long campaign season, etc. Sort of joking when he said that.

but he deserves a break, he's been at it for a while.
