A few great things about Obama's victory....(amongst the zillion of course)

These are just a few that came to me after scanning a few pages of DU -

We don't have to give a flying fuck about stuff that comes out of the Faux folks, right wing talk, pols like LIEberman or the Bronzed Boner - unless we want to.

We can be positive - during the Bush years (yeah, we are still in them, but the preObama victory Bush years) I agonized over little Rove and Rush news tidbit, and piled on Reid, Pelosi, and other Dems who were letting us down. But now I am letting these go - my nature is to be positive - not mindlessly everything is great numb positive - but I am letting it go for a bit and giving some time for the process to work itself out. And why?

I trust Obama and will trust the team he assembled. If his campaign taught me anything, it is that he and his staff are supremely competent.

Right now, I am feeling like we will be in good hands and that instead of fighting the assholes just to get our voice heard, we can soon start fighting for the appropriate changes needed. That is where I will put my energy.
