4. Unfortunately we may be less than twenty years from gay people not being born everyday.
But until that time I would pay my taxes. Why take money away from the poor and needy? I hope she donates what her taxes would be to health care for children or some other poverty related cause.

Hurting poor people will not give you your rights back.

Pay your taxes it's the patriotic thing to do.

5. Get treated like an equal member of society, it's a patriotic thing to do
The poor and needy don't get most of our taxes anyway - most of it goes to war profiteers

6. I have a feeling a lot of the State of california taxes do go to the poor and needy.
Slamming the poor to make your point doesn't seem a wise thing to do. Millionaires should pay more in taxes not less.

7. two points - first, most of CA budget does not go to poor and needy
so your point isn't really correct.

2nd, if you live in CA and are considered a full class citizen, by all means pay your taxes - it's a great thing to do to support the society that supports you

but for those who just got told they are not as worthy citizens than some of the others, I don't blame them in the least bit for not paying
