The big conservative lie: they want "fair and balanced" media coverage
How sick am I of crybaby right-wingers screeching "liberal media bias" at every story that doesn't go their way as they data-mine those very same sources to feed right-wing talk radio, the red blogs, and Fox News?

Of course, Fox News has blathered on endlessly how the media is "in the tank" for Obama and handed him the election on a silver platter. Hypocritically, their endless anti-Obama smears as they obsessed over Wright, Ayers, ACORN, etc. don't count as bias.

If right-wingers wanted balance they wouldn't all run off to do their daily mind meld with Limbaugh, Hannity, Savage, etc. on right-wing talk radio. Nor would they be in a lather fretting over Obama imposing the Fairness Doctrine they've nicknamed the "hush Rush law."

Heck, why are conservatives all in a lather over a law that requires the presentation of both sides of an issue? After all, they're such champions of "fairness and balance!" Plus, if the so-called "liberal mainstream media" is so biased wouldn't the Fairness Doctrine be a solution to conservatives' problems in finding it?

Curious conservatives seeking "fairness and balance" are so opposed to a law which would require it.

Or maybe not so curious when you realize right-wingers are addicted to the most biased sources of information available.

Next time some conservative mouths Fox News' bogus "fairness and balance" slogan just laugh in their face and mention the above points.

1. I have always thought that if someone has to tell you they are fair and balanced....
Then they most likely are neither fair nor balanced...

2. the fairness doctrine wouldnt "hush rush"
it would just give everyone he makes a personal attack against air time on his show to rebut him. clearly he cant allow that.
