If today's revelations are true, she toasted herself. If they're lies being spread by the R party, then they're burying her chances for national office.

If she appoints herself to the senate then she's out of her mind. You don't buck your party that deeply. She'll be relegated to the least interesting committee and have absolutely no power. Eventually, she'll be miserable in D.C. but I wouldn't put it past her. I'm just not placing any bets.

With no backing and money, she has a nervous breakdown and is eventual found wondering down an Alaskan Highway during a cold winter night in her underwear. Her children have her committed for a short period of time. When she gets out she ends up hosting a gardening show on the local PBS station.
