They think a real Republican would've gladly burned in hell for all eternity rather than be disloyal to what works.

And, of course, it's no surprise that they would see things this way. McCain's staffer's mid-campaign admission that they'd lose if the campaign was about the economy let the mask slip.

If they'd really had their way, they'd have accused Obama of being a Gay Jewish Muslim Marxist who downloads kiddie porn on his Senate computer.
