GOP civil war begins -- Operation Leper targets Republicon turncoats
http://www.redstate.com/diaries/erick/2008/nov/05/operation-leper/

This is too funny. They're beginning to eat their own.

RedState is pleased to announce it is engaging in a special project: Operation Leper.

We're tracking down all the people from the McCain campaign now whispering smears against Governor Palin to Carl Cameron and others. Michelle Malkin has the details.

We intend to constantly remind the base about these people, monitor who they are working for, and, when 2012 rolls around, see which candidates hire them. Naturally then, you'll see us go to war against those candidates.

It is our expressed intention to make these few people political lepers.

They'll just have to be stuck at CBS with Katie's failed ratings.

Kewl -- we need to keep them fighting each other. Maybe they'll leave us alone.

2. Holy crap, people!
Ok, so keeping the truth from the voters - that Palin did not know many basic aspects of geography and civics and several other subjects - is acceptable, but letting the secret out now is not?

These people really are in Bizarro World. I'm kinda pissed that this information was not out sooner, and frankly her supporters should be angry that they were duped into supporting an ignorant and unqualified candidate, not that the media is "smearing" her by exposing her for what she is! Smearing would be if they made up stuff about her or irresponsibly repeated rumors about her - the way many did for Obama!

3. Let the blaming begin! I see this in several RW sites today -
there are actually those who blame McCain for costing Palin the election!
They say she was sabotaged by McCain's campaign, set up with bad publicity and fed into traps with the "liberal media", and then all these bad reports of poor Sarah's spending on clothes an'all, Ya know?

There ae people looking for Palin to run for President in 2012, after the people realize the terrible mistake they made voting for a Democrat/Socialist/Commie (Black, Too!)

It's going to be fun to see these folks turned against themselves, and it's really going to hurt their political force for a long time.

4. so begins the rift.
The Republican party is no more.

Two maybe three weaker parties will arise from the ashes.

1. "Libertarians" who shrug just because they earned some money and don't want the government to have any.
a sub group is the "Joe the plumber" types who think they will have money in the future so they are preserving their prospects.

2. Constitution Party - the rabid Xian fundies who think the founding fathers were born again bible thumpers, that prayer should be enforced in school, the ten commandments should be posted in government buildings and science has an agenda.

3. "War mongering patriot Neo-cons -xenophobic assholes who think white European Americans are the greatest people in the world. They want to end immigration, hate Latinos and blacks and only trust Europeans who think like they do; and are willing to send their children as cannon fodder for America's wars.

Divide and conquer. Let these assholes eat their own. Hold our own party to the fire so that they do not corrupt like the Republicans did and the Dems will rule for a long time, America will turn the corner and hopefully the world will be a better place because of it.
