"Sam Perry, first publicly identified by the Chicago Sun-Times as the mystery man who lent his shoulder to a weepy Oprah Winfrey Tuesday, will appear on the TV superstar's show Friday.

"A Harpo representative declined to give further details about Perry's appearance.

"Suntimes.com broke the news today that Perry, of Menlo Park, Calif., is the man in a widely circulated image with Oprah.
