Spoke to my pet republican today - first time since election
He started out the conversation with, I haven't seen you in church lately.

I replied, I was busy getting a man elected to the office of President.

He said I don't know anything about your man. My Man?

The moron said he didn't even look into Obama but he was sure that he would ruin this country. I looked at him said he was a sad man and walked away.

Didn't even know anything about the person he was voting against, how can that be? The election was 21 months long (as long as Sarah Palin's term as gov.) and he claimed he knew more about Palin than Obama.
:wtf:

1. Does he know that Africa is a continent, or does he think it's a country?
Just saying.

7. He does think Biden's gaff about Roosevelt and TV was bigger than
Palin and the DJ prank.

Who knows about geography

2. It's all part of the grieving process.
Denial is a big hurdle to get over, especially to a repug.

4. Kind of hard to get over a hurdle when you deny theres a hurdle you need to get over.

3. I had a friend call me up on election day and say she was undecided
and who was I voting for. You have to ask? I said. I thought she was joking. No, she was serious. I told her I was voting Democratic, as I had all my life. And that mcbush was scary, and Obama was very intellegent. That was all I said.

Later she called me telling me she voted Obama. And then she said he really has a nice smile. She asked if he had any kids. Then she started gushing about how he has so much charisma and charm.

I'm not sure where she's been the past 6 months.

5. These people scare me. Would they be happier in a fascist dictatorship?

11. No, I think some people are really just preoccupied with their own stuff
and don't have the education or understanding of how these things affect their lives.

Some people don't see the conection between the government and their lives. Doesn't make them bad people. My friend is not a rabid, hate-spewing repub. She's just not paying attention.

14. The freepers I work with would be happier -
as long as it's their dictator.

They're all convinced that Obama's going to take all their money and possessions and give them to "poor people" and that if you're too "lazy" to work (or even if you just don't want to), you'll get a check every week from the gov't.

Rush has got them SCARED - if they keep it up near me today, I'm going to offer to call the Whaaambulance...

9. That is how we ended up with a moron for President 8 years ago
People found him funny.
I actually had one person tell me that McCain would have won if he would have been himself because is funny when he is himself.

10. I am enjoying pitching the 'socialist Alaska oil money handouts'
And inviting the dweebs to defect to the next see-sesh state.

One individual in particular has been all glen beckie 'get your christmas shopping done now before the socialist takes all your money' Makes NO SENSE WHATSOEVER it just is part of the koolaid vibe of the rush-addicts.

I am happily noticing, however, a bunch of the loudmouths becoming suddenly apolitical.

The season of the civil servant is fast approaching!

13. My pet republican - my boss
has informed us that we will now be going out of business once "Bam-Bam" (I guess his idea of a funny) raises our taxes.

Our company is breaking our own sales, revenue and margin records this year. We are solvent, healthy and on track to grow through 2009. Yet he is convinced that Obama is going to drive us out of business.

He won't hear any discussion of the truth.
