7. You couldn't get a collar around that adams apple. |
|
Plus I don't think they'll give a license to a rabid dog.

3. IF they can find a shelter dog that's one of those hypoallergenic breeds since |
|
his daughter is allergic. I sure hope they're able to do that.

4. It's entirely possible to get a "pedigreed" dog from a shelter or rescue group |
|
There are people all over the place who rescue particular breeds from shelters.. Our pedigreed lab was a "turn in"..

his is some really nice news. growing up all i ever had were shelter pets, and honestly i can't imagine getting them any other way now (the exception are my 2 current cats - both were not taken from a shelter, but they infact faced certain death, so i took them home)

6. But added that most shelter dogs might not be suitable for the daughter |
|
Who is allergic.
A shelter dog would be great, those dogs are just FULL of so much love, but if one of President Obama's daughter's is allergic, then they'll probably have to go with a non-shelter dog.
President Obama said "most shelter dogs are mutts, like me!"
LOL! Hilarious, it's nice to have a President who not only is intelligent, but also has a normal sense of humor.

8. I have allergies and I just got a rescue dog. |
|
If you get a dog that doesn't shed, he probably won't mess with your allergies. I just got a little short haired Yorkie and I've had no problems.

9. We have a rescue dog too |
|
Thankfully we're not allergic, we have a miniature Schnauzer, and he's adorable and very lively, his name is Henry.

10. It would make me very happy were he to do like us and get |
|
a puppy mill doggie. Getting Simone has been one of the most frustrating, but satisfying things we have ever done. http://www.smallpawsrescue.org/pup3/reason.htm
