Imagine how tired Mr. O must be right now.
He comes off of months and months of flying around, speaking, driving around, shaking hands, flying around speaking, driving around, shaking hands. All the funky weather. All the dammed people. He's on his cell phone a lot (health issues with that?).

Then has to try and find time with his family and friends. Get some sleep. Eat right. Then wake up and do it all over again day after day. Relentlessly. And even more so in the closing days. Flying, speaking, handshakes, driving, handshakes, hugs and kisses. And cell phone calls.

Now he finds he won the damn thing. So what about celebrating? How to fit that in. And now he realizes he needs to get down to work to make all the next things happen. Pick a staff, talk to even more advisors. Deal with family matters. Kids now going to school in D.C.

How in the world does this guy handle his private biz. Down time. Eating right. Play time. Fun time. Does he wake up out of a sound sleep and go, "Damn, I'm the fucking President.... How the did that happen? What do I do now?". His mind must be racing with all the possibilities and ideas.

It must be a real trip to be him right now. I know he realizes the weight on his shoulders, but I think he trusts his ability to find the right people to help him. And he knows we're all in it together. And I bet he has a certain peace and calm in his mind.

But I still think there must be a moment or two when he sits back by himself somewhere and contemplates what he has accomplished and thinks, "Damn, I'm the fucking President".

1. What I like is that they really seem to like each other as friends
and respect each other. Been a long time since the Pres and the first lady were still a real couple.

2. Yes and I think they are really in love. And I bet they have some very personal
inside private jokes that only a couple like that would understand. I also believe the girls are all inclusive and even get to help make certain family decisions. That's just the way I see it.

11. I wouldn't be surprised if he's a little bit scared too.
Looking at those pictures of the Obamas and the Bidens watching the returns come in, I thought I saw just the slightest hint of deer-in-the-headlights. Just a little. He's like "Sweet Jesus...it's really happening. I'm the fucking President...."

And then Michelle is like, "chill the fuck out, baby, you got this." :D

12. Funny. I thought there was a little consternation. A little being humbled by the
whole thing. But, you're right... he can always turn to his rock and friend and she can ground him again. And so can the kids.
