Other progressive message boards?

I am curious if anyone else here visits other progressive forums. I'm looking for a forum that is more focused on community and intellectual discussion on issues, without huge tons of drama.

I haven't found a forum yet that doesn't get regular visits from the Drama Llama.

Yeah, I am looking for a place where I can have discussions with other like minded people about the things we care about. DU is so big now any real discussion or debate is difficult because 90% of the posts consist of less than three lines of text, and there are so many people posting threads that half the people who might want to participate in a discussion never see it. Those that do see it often are the emotional drama queens, who quickly derail the thread.

It's sad because I want real intelligent discussions and debates.

7. A site with a hell of a lot of snark, not so much drama. and quite a bit of good discussion..

The most interesting part is that the blog owner is a former wingnut who has seen the light and now hates wingnuts more than most people who were always liberal.

6. I just visited this site and they certainly seem to hate DU

many are DU expatriates, who were banned for supporting third party candidates, etc.
still, the question was about other "progressive" forums.
