1. I know an awful lot about them.
They're a bit controversial in Washington State. They're to the Democrats as the BIAW is to the Republicans.

2. I would really like a job as a recruiter. Have you ever been a union steward?

9. No
I'm a member of IBEW.

I'm generally pro-union but many shop stewards I've known do it for the wrong reasons. Often they let power go to their heads.

Not saying you shouldn't do it. I just hope you have better intentions and don't let power corrupt you.

16. FYI
SEIU is the fastest-growing union in North America. Focused on uniting workers in three sectors to improve their lives and the services they provide, SEIU is:

The largest health care union, with 900,000 members in the field, including nurses, LPNs, doctors, lab technicians, nursing home workers, home care workers
The largest property services union, with 225,000 members in the building cleaning and security industries, including janitors, door men and women
The second largest public services union, with 850,000 local and state government workers, public school employees, bus drivers, and child care providers

3. I appreciate all that the unions did in helping us organize
The machinists lent us their space as a staging area.

I know I saw SEIU tshirts on some of the volunteers.

A communications union gave us a place to phonebank.

But I understand, it's like when people call me "bias" instead of "nobias" or even "ihave" or IHNB, etc.
