3. "showed young voters overwhelmingly for gay marriage." |
|
We will have it within our lifetimes.
We were talking about it at dinner today - my husband and I are 27 and my sister-in-law who lives with us is 14. She said that a friend of hers had a lot of gay friends and really wasn't homophobic but was against gay marriage and couldn't explain why. This friend has also gone to a conservative church for most of her life, which I think answers her question.
I've seen that on the forums I go to that are mostly people my age and younger - the majority are extremely for it, but there are a few who are religiously insane and can't get past the brainwashing despite apparently not feeling the hate. The key word there is "few".

Try "went for McCain in 2008".
