Anybody else think that the first official act that Obama should do when he is sworn in |
|
is to make sure that the bush cabal is prosecuted for war crimes or send the lot of them to the Hague if we cant do it here to be prosecuted there.

not in one year
not in one term
not in two terms
it will be all nice-nice and kumbaya with repukes
then, in 4 or 8 or 28 years, when the uber-wealthy recreate the repuke party, they can send the same cast of criminals (or their proteges) back in for round three of the great national buttfucking.

and let those men have a fair trial under The Constitution. Stop torture. Then lift the ban on showing coffins and the war. And then, prosecute these mass-murdering mother fuckers.

Chimpy Fucknuts will have pardoned everyone who ever worked for him, even though they will not have been indicted, including Chimpy Fucknuts.
Remember that "unindicted con-conspirator" thing that got Nixon a "Get Out Of Jail Free" card?
You watch.

who'd be inclined in that direction, but the whole ball of wax will take a long time; we'll read about it in 'history' books, if we're lucky!

I'll settle for renouncing the Bush Doctrine on the first day. That's something he can do unilaterally. And then make plans to close Gitmo.

|
I can't believe that they will just walk away as free persons after all the murders and the destruction of a whole country or two. Bushco and some may think they are going to go live happily every after but I don't.

22. Presidents are above prosecution for abuse of power |
|
It's a tradition basically as old as John Adams and the Alien and Sedition Acts. Nixon started a secret war in Cambodia and illegally spied on American citizens because he considered them his "enemies". Yet none of that got him in trouble. It was his cover up of a petty crime that did him in.
If President Obama could change this tradition that would certainly be amazing. But I'm not holding my breath.
