Personally I never liked the deification aspect. It smacked of giving him a free pass to do anything he liked in much the same way GWB expected to be his right. I never liked all this "hope" and "change" stuff. Hope for WHAT? Change from WHAT to WHAT?

We may have gotten a Democratic President Elect, but we went backwards as far as civil rights go in at least 4 states.
I personally am really not all that happy about that. And I am certain that is why things are so 'emotional' around here. People are rightfully angry. Myself included.
