What I'd like to see the Dems do with FauxNews.... |
|
I'd like to see EVERY Dem refuse to go on FauxNews until Murdoch pledges to be really fair and balanced. I'd like to see someone compile a thirty minute or so clip of all of their major bullshit and submit it to Murdock and demand it be changed, otherwise they will be speaking only in their own vacuum chamber.
I mean, when I saw the clips of O'Lielly interviewing (groveling, really) McCain and then saw his theatrics with Obama, it made me puke.
So fuck FauxNews and let them wander in the wilderness with all the other pricks out there.

Just ignore them, don't give them any interviews, don't leak them information, don't give them press passes if they misbehave, etc.
Just ignore them basically...

We do not really need the fairness doctrine again. It's obsolete due to technology anyway (one can stream any talk radio one wishes, or hunt for news on the internet, etc...) so all it will do in galvanize the hardcore right wingers to fight back.
As I said above the best way to combat Faux and Rush and their ilk is to simply ignore them.
If someone ask's Obama a question like, "So Rush Limbaugh said that you support socialism, is that true?"
His response should be "Rush who? Oh.. that Rush, is he out of rehab again yet? Well anyway, back to what i was saying about more important topics..." and just continue with the press conference. Ignore them and they'll make themselves obsolete as they whine harder and harder to get back in the spotlight...

4. Let them die on the vine |

The magic of the marketplace should be left to deal, ruthlessly, with Mr. Murdoch's expensive media empire.

9. You can't JUST ignore them... |
|
You MUST also let their advertisers know, in no uncertain terms, that you are ignoring them.

...all the way up to "...until Murdoch pledges..."
You lost me there. The you got me back with "...they will be speaking only in their own vacuum chamber."
I don't want Fixed News to change. I want it to disappear.
