Why should I care that one figurehead is in charge and not another? I am no fool.
I understand how the Washington power structure works.

1. Dean is NOT being fired. He has said repeatedly over the past year that
he does not want to stay on particularly if the dems win the WH. DNC chair under a dem administration is a figurehead position and he has no interest in filling that role. He could not possibly have been clearer about it.

He wants HHS. Whether he gets it or not is another story.

9. In effect that is what is going on....just not in so many words.
He has never made it really clear, though he did express doubt about another term. He knows the rules. It is Obama's party now, and Rahm's.

I felt for a while like it was now my party again, but since he chose Rahm I feel like an outsider all over again.

5. They are laying off the state staffers. Insiders are taking their party back.
It leads to speculation.

Also we have become the party of Rahm, who wants power top down.

He is the exact opposite of Dean who wanted to allow bottom up power so we could be part.

He's out, the staffers are being laid off.

And DU is now Rahm country.

I think Dean's name is being kept off the media via party messaging.

It is the beginning of the insiders taking their country and party back.

and DU is hardly Rahm country. It is Obama country Sorry you don't like it. You are full of speculation with nothing real to back it up.

it's what people too often throw out when they don't have any truth at all.
