It's a statement of principle for me.

2. The people or junk yard that buy it will have to sign a waiver to leave it on.

So, it's off already. I live in Freeperzone, so I need money and can't turn the crazy, bitter McCainiacs down.

7. i WAS going to take THEM off day after election. leaving them on cause of assassination jokes
and anti obama bullshit i heard from boys school day after election.

i have no need to have them on car now that obama won. BUT when both my boys came to me after election and told them so many kids mouthing off about assassination of obama i got pissed and decided i would leave them on until i knew that bullshit died off.

then i am taking them off

11. Gone Wednesday morning.
I live in Wyoming. I had rally signs in four windows and magnetic placards on the back. I got into a lot of lively discussions all through the process. On Wednesday I took them off before I drove to work. This time I got into more lively discussions about why I'd done that. I explained that the election part is over, the challenge now is going to figure out how to get anything done, and that I don't perceive driving around rubbing the election results in to be a very productive (dare I say 'mature') way to go about it.

My goal was not just to get Barack Obama elected, it is to get something done to make things better. Depending on where you are leaving the stickers on for the next eight years may make sense; where I am it doesn't.

12. Interesting points. I'm enjoying making a "victory lap" around my red county personally. I've also
been wearing my "Obama '08" shirt around town. I'm enjoying putting my thumb in their eye for now. I still see W '04 AND McCain-Palin stickers around town.
