That's what some assholes say as an excuse for being Repukes, but don't want to admit they are. They like to refer to themselves as "Reagan Democrats".

Here's my response, "You're not a Reagan Democrat, you're a Lieberman Democrat. That means your not a Democrat at all, because we threw your sorry ass out."

but if they think there's any fatted calf, they are sadly mistaken. The calves were all Bushwacked, and the homes repossessed.

The racists, however, will be warming themselves with vitriol, and feeding themselves with hate. They will be fine.

4. wandering about...

I've been a Democrat a l-o-n-g time. The Democratic Party has tended to wander about, but I've stuck with it for 2 basic reasons; (1) GOP looks out for BIG MONEY folks, DP looks out for working folks, (2) the worst damned Democrat is a hundred times better than the best goddamned Republican.
