"He's Not My President" & "He's Still Not My President" Can Now Be Replaced |
|
with "I Support My President" slogans--
just occurred to me as i was reaching for a coffee mug that has the "still not my president" slogan on it--that now i will be able to, at last, swap it out for a different mug...one that finally supports a person i voted for.
wow--just a simple sunday early afternoon revelation.
:D :patriot:
*this is not to say i will not be critical of him, or close my eyes and just be led with a notion of blind faith like the majority of republikas did--it is simply to say this, in my best estimation, will be a person i will be able to be proud of and be supportive of. what a difference an election makes!
and i'm sure the coffee will taste far less bitter--and more delicious as i sip from some new coffee mugs!

5. I've never liked those slogans. |
|
I didn't like them when the Limbaughites started it in the '90s, and I refused to follow suit with Bush. That doesn't mean I approved of the guy in any way, shape, or form. But it makes no sense to go down such roads, to me. No matter how divisive Bush was and is, it doesn't make sense for us to follow suit except in our policy and votes. It leaves us with much less of an ability to bring everyone together now when it's more necessary than ever.

8. well, it has been a rather comforting/soothing ritual for me to be |
|
drinking morning coffee out of a "he's still not my president mug"--it was my quiet rebellion as i tuned into the day's news
