Dear GOP - Say Hello To OBAMA'S NSA-FBI-CIA! Can you hear me now?
It is mildly amusing to ponder the feelings of Rush/Rove/Cheney/Bush et al. now that they could possibly be on the receiving end of the "total surveillance" structure built by GW. Bush. I hope all of them are left to twist in the wind wondering if THEY will have their every communication, every purchase, every library visit and everything else they do logged and recorded by the political operatives of the Obama Administration. My vote for the right wing's Elliott Spitzer moment would be Rush or Rove or Cheney. Any of the three would be OK and I would bet that it probably would take only a few days of surveillance to find any one of these guys are knee deep in felonies and treason. While I doubt that Obama will use the FBI,NSA or the CIA in the same criminal manner as Bush has done, it is still fun to put out there that the hunters may become the hunted.

Lastly, I do hope the Obama Admin does a thorough review of the people installed by BushCo in these organizations to try and weed out the extreme partisans in the professional ranks.

1. Look for a sudden resurgence of interest in the right to privacy
on the part of repugs everywhere. Take that to the bank!

5. Well, if they have nothing to hide....
there should be no problem. But seriously, I think this will be a priority of President Obama's - to return us to a nation of laws.

15. That's the question of the hour, seems to me.

Will Obama take the pledge to give up the extra-constitutional powers Bush has usurped?

Torture?
Warrentless wiretaps?
Endless detention without charges?
Aggressive wars lacking in UN approval?
Signing statements?
The right to declare anyone an enemy combatant for any reason?
The right to declare a state of emergency (E.O. 51) for any reason?

What are the other ones? These are extremely dangerous powers for the
Presidential toolbox, and I want them removed by impeachment of Bush.

Lacking that I'd settle for Obama to renounce them formally by
proclamation.

13. I want the name of every single American on that list.
And everyone from every other country we can think of.

If there's no damn way to off the list, put everybody on it.

8. I think Congress should pass a law **requiring** surveillance of these criminals.
They are a clear and present danger to the nation. Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld (what's HE been up to?), Addington, Rove, Gonzo, Cambone, Rice, Libby (when he gets out), Greenspan, Wolfowitz, Bolton, Negroponte, Perl, the lot of them. These are very dangerous people. If impeachment is "off the table," and prosecution is more than likely "off the table"--that is, all our laws have been suspended just for Bushwhacks--then surveillance would at least help keep us safe from them. What is their money being channeled to? (Where is it coming from?) Who are they meeting with? Where are they traveling? What are they conspiring to do? Any new "projects for a New American Century" in the works? Any private corporate wars they may be planning, with the billions stolen in Iraq? Etc.

:patriot:

10. "thorough review of the people installed by BushCo"
Why stop at the intel orgs?

I say thoroughly review every department looking specifically for anyone who Goodling would have (or did) hire.

Time to clean house.

11. Bush and Chenney have NSA coverage for life
One of the perks for being in the executive branch. If the new admin is going to spy on Bush they have to clear it with his NSA security guards first. This is a 2 tiered society folks even if we like the presidential elect.
