1. Coleman concedes to Franken on the O'Leilly factor
With Bill-O breaking the story

granted at this moment there is still 221 votes more for Coleman, but that could change after the recount.

2. Do you have a link?
Maybe I should have said news story that has happened, not one we'd like to see!

3. I picked G.
Beacause most of the other story we as a community will keep up on and/or change. A cure for HIV/AIDS has an impact far beyond our borders and lifetimes.

4. True.
But, really if a newscast were to cover all these stories it would be a refreshing change of pace!

6. Here's an issue that merits discussion:
Edited on Sun Nov-09-08 06:59 PM by USA_1
Bush must be compelled to pay for his war before he leaves office.

Democrats should jump on this one before January 20, 2009.

7. Who Sarah Palin's been palling around with... "Witch Smeller" Murthee & Co.
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/africaandindianocean/nigeria/3407882/Child-witches-of-Nigeria-seek-refuge.html

So far beyond creepy I can't think of anything bad enough to write about these hominids.

Americans who think it's "funny" or "quaint" that Palin belonged to a church that actually invited one of these evil slimeballs to visit and "bless" people --including Palin-- need to know EXACTLY what these vile scum are doing at home...

And what they'd probably LIKE to do here.

shudderingly,
Bright

10. Good pick.
And no one can say it's a "regional" or "state" thing when she's being considered by many of her supporters to be running in 2012.

13. Let them rebuild as an ultra right party that struggles to get 30%
Let that failure sink in for a few decades until the hard liners die of old age and a new, more moderate generation takes over and builds a party of true conservative thought, and a respect for the laws and traditions of this country.
