3. Hopefully this will stop some people from looking to blame Obama. |
|
He isn't the bad guy, people. Let's calm down a bit.

5. Yeah...he only stated that he opposes marriage equality. It's not like he has any influence. |

Judging by his voting record and what he has done for gays in Chicago, it seems like his stance on marriage was to get votes.
Only time will tell. I still think we should give him the benefit of the doubt instead of turning him into the enemy so hastily.

12. No, it's worse if he only said it to get votes. |
|
If he actually believes that marriage equality should not happen, then he could be possibly convinced otherwise. If he tossed the LGBT community under the bus for political expediency in opposition to his own values, then he is the worst sort of politician and cannot be trusted to stand for anything.

I tend to not trust a politician as far as I can throw them. I still support Obama, but I won't either criticize him or praise him until he's actually president.

And intended to be poking fun at your naive subject line. (DU concern trolls never die. They just find a new shiny cause.)
Turns out you really ARE new!!! hahahaha!
In this instance, BiB = Epic Fail.

13. Oh yes, I've seen my fair share of the concern trolls during my time of lurking. |
|
Best to just ignore them, I suppose.
But this anti-Obama rhetoric is ridiculous.
