7. I can't help but think that if this happened four years ago

it would all be swept under the rug...everybody feels the change coming and that means the fucking neo-cons and religious right aren't going to get the free pass they have had for the past 8 years. Even in little things like this. Networks know they have to change their tune and start sucking up to those in power.

But with as much time off as he takes off already from the show who will know. That guy is like the W of broadcasting with as much vacation/personal time he takes.

Yes I know his wife had pregnancy problems over the summer and I'm not knocking him for that. But how many of us would get the same? At least under the Clinton administration we got the family leave act which gave some of us some cover for these family situations.
